Custom Steampunk Deadpool figure by Jin-Saotome

This 6” figure was made from a LCBH Judge Dread body, Ultimate Cap A lower legs, Moon Knight head with sculpted on goggles/seams, Movie Blackheart coat, and DCD Batman pouches. His weapons were random parts added to existing weapons to punk them out. He was painted with various shading/blending techniques using Formula P3 and Testors Model Master acryl paints.

My final project for my stage makeup class.  I decided to create a fanbot and I think I did a fairly good job.  I totally forgot to grey my ears, though (blast!).
Name: Piston, named such for the customized tungsten alloy pistons in his arms and legs.  These pistons are capable of exerting pressures up to 45,000 psi in optimal conditions and can land a maximum of 1000 blows per minute (fists only).
Composition: The majority of Piston’s chassis is carbon steel with the more vulnerable/weaponized sections (joints, fists, head) made up of tungsten carbide.  The “hair” on the face and head is actually a radiation-based exhaust system using a large number of wires to eject excess heat.  The vent structure around the mouth area is used both as an exhaust port, but also as a speaker when Piston’s standard voice is not sufficient to be heard over ambient noise.  The large torso is designed to hold a reactor capable of powering Piston’s speed and strength.  The reactor itself holds a large ball of “grey matter” that gives off a constant electrical charge with only mild stimulus via movement.  The more movement of the vessel, the more power generated.
Short History: Piston was designed first as a construction and demolition automaton in high-risk areas.  When the Great War broke out, the American government saw the military applications of such a machine.  Piston was quickly bought and shipped off various locations for sabotage (breaking very big, important things) and later used on the front lines as an anti-tank/personnel/artillery unit.

Don't expect much if anything. I plan to slap words upon keys of black and white as the digital poet screams. Soiled thoughts of sadness mixed in with jubilant epiphanies shall crawl across this space. The odd video or two should appear as well. I am not the type to automatically follow back; I will peruse your archive for a while before deciding to follow or not. For more information, type in /blahaboutme at the end of the url.
